ASSORBA-USA proudly presents the Jubile Bana Diaspora in the US, a historic year-long celebration marking 25 years of unity, heritage, achievement, and community impact among the Bana diaspora in the United States.
The Jubilee Year officially launches on Sunday, September 13, 2026, during the official community barbecue, and will continue through September 12, 2027. This milestone celebration brings together members of the Bana community from across the United States and around the world to honor our shared heritage, celebrate our accomplishments, strengthen community connections, and build a lasting legacy for future generations.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty the King of Bana, the Jubilee will feature a series of cultural, educational, leadership, business, and community initiatives throughout the year. Program highlights include Cultural Celebration & Heritage activities, Youth Summit & Leadership programs, Business & Investment Forum, the Bana Botanica Project, Grand Gala & Awards Night, Community Day, scholarships and education initiatives, and heritage preservation programs.
The Jubilee will also mark the official launch of Vision 2047, a 20-year roadmap designed to build a thriving, connected, and empowered Bana community for generations to come.
The year-long celebration will culminate with four days of celebration, connection, and purpose from September 9–12, 2027, in the Washington, DC–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) area.
