Set among the hills near Bafang, the Bana commune brings together several traditional groups — Bana, Bakassa, Bandoumkassa, and Batcha — across dozens of villages. Its fertile highlands and lively markets have long made it a crossroads of the region.
Rooted at home, growing abroad
Though many sons and daughters of Bana now live across Cameroon and around the world, the homeland remains the anchor of identity — the place every journey returns to.
